Maui Shows

Looking to fill an evening in Maui with a fun show? We’ve got plenty for you to choose from, whether you’re looking for family-friendly entertainment, an outing for your team, or something you and your friends can enjoy. Shows on Maui are always changing, with new acts coming in, but here are just a few of our most popular, regular shows:

MACC

The Maui Arts and Cultural Center (MACC) is a hub for art and entertainment in the region. It hosts regular performances, lectures, music concerts, theatrical events, and film screenings. The MACC’s diverse programming includes concerts from renowned musical talent such as rock bands, folk singers, symphony orchestras, reggae and jazz groups from around the world. The center also features artist talks with visual artists that present and explore various artistic mediums like sculpture, painting, and photography. There are even occasional special interactive workshops for kids throughout the year designed specifically to foster their creativity within a nurturing environment. All these events offer something for everyone – whether you’re looking for an evening of comedy or a night of culture and sophistication!

Luaus

There is no better way to celebrate the Hawaiian spirit than attending a luau. Several organizations offer luaus on Maui, but one of the oldest and most famous is Old Lahaina Luau. At this show, you’ll get to watch performers glide through traditional Hawaiian dances and sing authentic songs as you feast on local delicacies and roast pig. The event usually lasts up to three hours, but the time will fly by as you get caught up in the intoxicating spirit of the festivities.

Maui Film Festival

The annual Maui Film Festival is a much-anticipated event for film lovers from around the world. Held each June, the highly popular festival celebrates creativity and independent films from filmmakers of many genres by showcasing their work during viewings and events. The multi-day festivities typically kick off with an outdoor screening under the stars. Throughout the week, moviegoers can attend daily screenings, followed by lively after-parties (and some beforehand, like the Taste of Wailea). There are also special interviews with celebrity guests and awards.
