What could be better than enjoying Maui when the stars come alive to honor some the most exciting talent in the movie world. This event, Maui Film Festival is held in June and stands out like no other film festival in the world! This incredible event attracts thousands of movie-lovers from Maui, Hollywood and around the world.
The town of Wailea starts to buzz while different cinema locations are being put together and the festival events unfold.
A week before the event Wailea holds Restaurant Week in Wailea happening May 25-31. Participating restaurants create a three course, pre-fixe menu for just $29*, $39* or $49* per person (*depending on the restaurant – beverages, tax and gratuity not included). Some restaurants will have enhanced promotions during this hugely popular event, go ahead and make your reservations NOW!
In the mean time film lovers, celebrities and anyone looking for a great time start trickling into the hub! The 2015 Maui Film Festival takes place this year June 3-7, and the preliminary schedule and event passes are now available online, with the schedule of film premieres and honored celebrities soon to come!
The festival has several locations making it fun to pick what films you what to see, when and where. The opening night is always in Wailea and one of the nights the Maui Film Festival offers a free evening under the starts with a movie screen on the beach. It’s an exciting time to be in Maui and take in this spectacular and inspiring event.

New in 2015! Taste of Summer Opening Party at the Grand Wailea. We’re keeping the details of this party under wraps for now but guarantee you an event to remember!
Each ticket includes admission to Wednesday Night’s Celestial Cinema Double Feature.

Each Taste of Wailea ticket includes admission to Saturday Night’s Celestial Cinema Double Feature.
