Dive into the famous Lahaina Halloween
One of the biggest celebrations on Maui happens every year in Lahaina. Since 1990 Front Street in Lahaina has brought in crowds of costumed visitors from all over the world to celebrate. This year the festivities are expected to see crowds up to 35,000 visitors and locals alike. Front Street will be patrolled by 80 police officers and around 80 volunteers on October 31st this year as the safety of everyone there is a primary concern. Don’t be shy the Annual Halloween Contest in Banyan Park draws in this huge crowd that drives the contestants as they battle for cash prizes. Front Street will have the streets shut down from cars. Many bars and restaurants will be holding their own costume contests.
