Maui Yoga Path – Maui Yoga Path is located in the Mana Kai Resort in South Kihei. Led by accomplished local instructor Deni Rogan, Maui Yoga Path offers gentle outdoor yoga, Iyengar yoga, and private sessions – available for all levels.

Jany Outdoor Yoga – Jany Outdoor Yoga is held every Monday at Waipuilani Park from 5-6 pm. Classes are donation-based and open to all levels. Waipuilani Park is just a short walk or drive from some of our best Kihei rentals, like Menehune Shores. The instructor, Jany, also hosts classes at Island Power Yoga in Kihei.

Maui Goat Yoga – Yes, you read that right. At Maui Goat Yoga in Ulupalakua, you can practice your downward dog with friendly mini goats. This is a memorable, fun experience for beginners and professionals alike.

Maui Yoga Loft – Maui Yoga Loft is one of South Maui’s top-rated studios. This studio is centrally located to most of our South Maui rentals, near Kihei Kalama Village. Maui Yoga Loft offers classes for all ability levels, from gentle yoga and yin to ashtanga and vinyasa. Yoga teacher training is also offered here.

Island Power Yoga – Island Power Yoga is located in North Kihei, just off Pi’ilani Highway. Island Power Yoga has classes for every ability level, plus several visitor packages that include class drop-ins and mat rentals.

Wailea Healing Center – Located in the rolling hills above Wailea, the Wailea Healing Center offers chair yoga and yoga nidra weekly. Private yoga sessions are also offered for beginners or those looking to refine their practice.

If you don’t mind driving to the other side of the island for yoga, you’ll also find highly-rated studios in Wailuku, Haiku, and Makawao. Some of the best include Afterglow Yoga, Mangala Yoga, and Maya Yoga Studio.

Best Locations For Outdoor Yoga

 

Kamaole Beach III

Located in South Kihei, “Kam” III features a large grassy lawn overlooking the ocean – making it a great place to practice outdoor yoga. Come early, and you’ll have the park almost to yourself, or lay out your mat at sunset and enjoy spectacular views.

Polo Beach

Polo Beach is located on the southern edge of Wailea. Set up your practice in the grass beneath palm trees, or sneak over to the south side of the beach fronting Polo Beach Club. This side of the beach is tucked away and a bit more quiet than the portion of the beach in front of the Fairmont Kea Lani, making it an excellent option for a quiet yoga practice – especially at sunrise.

Sugar Beach is the longest beach on Maui, so finding a private patch of sand for practice is easy. It’s best to get your practice in early at Sugar Beach before the tradewinds pick up and blow sand all over your mat.
